Life drawring and comics

So the model at life drawing yesterday was built like an action figure. This is probably the best drawing from that night.

Also included in this post, page 4 so far. The layout was kicking my ass and then poof it came to me. It will be done tomorrow, oh yes it will.

Warmin it up

Some warm ups before drawing comics today. I haven't drawn comics in so long. Today reminded me how hard they really are. I spent the whole day drawing and re drawing panels. I over think things. I'm also no liking the layout of this page so much anymore. I might start it over. When it gets to a point I'm satisfied with, I'll post it.

I spent the day thumbing out comic pages and designing things for RADIO. Tomorrow I start on pages again. It's been awhile since I've drawn sequentials. I plan on spending the night downloading comedy albums, podcasts and the like to keep me going.

Asian Myths

2 Sketches based on Asian myths. One is a giant wall that gets in your way. The other is a rice sandal that comes to life and runs around your house screaming. Weird stuff. I like the bottom drawing alot more than the top one. The top image was an at size mock-up for the finshed piece, but I'm not sure if I'm gonna go with it or not.

Figure Drawings + Mermaid

The color choices on the mermaid took forever to get. I'm still not %100 on the tree (it comes across beanstalk-y) or the color of the color hold. But I do like the mood the colors bring.

And figures from a figure drawing session that reminded me I need to do more figure drawing.
